New york City never fails to excite me!

Happy halloween everyone! hope u guys had a great one.i spent mine in bed feeling all sick from all the puking and diarrhoea :(

i headed to chelsea market again to try out the lobster. apparently, this lobster craze has become a "must do" for the crew.but it turned out nothing fantastic , just steamed lobster at an affordable price.






since we are at chelsea market. i brought them to high line. my second time to high line, i realize that views are much better in summer compare to  the winter season.




then roy brought us to this mexican food place in soho area , located at the cross junction of prince st and elizabeth st to try out their famous $2 mexican grilled corn.

it was really gooooooooooooooddddd. very goodddddddd. fyi the corn is coated with cheese and some spices! crazy. it was really good!!!

i will definitely go back there again!!!! :)

thank god i was there just before the sandy storm hits new york. for those ppl who are still there, stay warm and stay safe!

Nothing beats the time spent with the family.

A break from the shopping - Stanley Market Hong Kong

IT IS RARE but YES! finally i chose to do some sightseeing in hong kong rather than shopping. C brought me to stanley market during my last visit to hong kong. we did not take the easy way out by taking a cab there. instead, we took a bus (no.6) from causeway bay to stanley market, the ride is about 30mins? i have NEVER taken a bus in hkg before , it is always the MTR or the taxi whenever i need to travel around in hkg. so, taking the mini bus to the market is something new for me. :)
if u get car sickness easily, might just have to think twice about going there, cause the route to the market has to go through quite a few turns , and it makes me feel kind of giddy.

According to C, stanley market is a "touristy" area, so the things that are selling there is slightly pricier i guess.but there are some interesting small shops that sells nice souvenirs.


the reason why i love the place is because it is right beside the sea!!!  it is just so nice to stroll along the seaside in the evening and end the night with a nice seafood dinner and some wine.



it was kind of crowded during dinner time. i guess the location and the ambience of the restaurants attracts quite a lot of people there just for a nice seafood dinner. but our dinner at OCEAN Bay was not a good experience i must say. to keep it short, they forgot our order, i have to asked three times for a glass of water before it actually appears in front of me, and the food was not tasty at all. i don't know if it is just our luck,or perhaps they are just too busy but i definitely will not go back there again.

other than the unpleasant dining experience, the night was beautiful.

A glass of wine to end the beautiful day. :)

Champagne makes the night easier.

the night was a little easier with the champagne! i was feeling a lot happier and trouble free for that 4 hrs.thanks for the company ladies... :)

I LOVE MADAME TUSSAUDS VEGAS!

i must say the next highlight of the trip must be the fun time spent at the madame tussauds. i have been to the others wax museums in other parts of the world but none is as fun as the one in vegas. i don't remember the ones i been provide props for people to take photos with. so i kind of enjoyed the walk taking funny pictures and laughed about it at the end of the walk. Thanks Rachael for insisting of going to the madame tussauds though i wasn't quite keen initially. :)

LAS VEGAS BABY! ( DAY ONE )

Last month i did a road trip to "sin city" from los angeles! it was my second time to vegas but i still had much fun ! enjoy the pictures! :)


we rented a really big van! so we have a lot of space for us to move around, slack and sleep. lol. after all, it is a 4.5hr ride, the extra space really makes it more comfortable for us!

i have mickey with me to vegas! lol

how about Mac donald in a train?

and we arrive at venetian! we had two great nights there.


the room was kind of big! basically it can fit like 5 people?( if u are on a budget!!)
